Like music and fun? Then don't miss the Battle of the Bands at the Georgia State Fair!

Calling all bands to submit a demo cd for possible entry in the competition! Submit to our office, attention Betsy.



We had strong competition at the 2008 Battle of the Bands. The winner was Randy Newton & the 120/80 Vocal Band from Milledgeville, GA. They performed at the Macon-A-Star Finale and the Kazoo Event on Thursday, September 25, 2008. The runner-up was Bradley Junction from Gray, GA. They performed on stage Friday night during our Band Night. The 1st place winner received $500 and a special prize of a recording session from Platinum Media & Sound in Macon. Thanks to all our talent judges and volunteers for making Battle of the Bands a great success.
